Residents Meeting

LLTCA would like to hear from residents from Lenaderg and Tullylish. We are conscious that we don’t get a lot of feedback from people but are hopeful that our new website and the Facebook page will encourage more people to get in touch with us.

For those who prefer to talk to Claire and some of the Committee in person we are holding a meeting in Tullylish Presbyterian Church Hall on Tuesday 10th April at 7.30pm. Please let people know about this meeting and encourage them to come along.

Community Clean-up

We are having a community clean up in Laurencetown on Saturday 7th April from 12-2pm. Equipment will be provided and a snack/treat for those who take part afterwards in the Community Centre. If a number of people help out it can make a big difference in a short time!

ProActive Youth Club Trip to Todd’s Leap

There are 15 places for Youth Club Members to go to Todd’s Leap on Tuesday 3rd April. £5 per person. The bus leaves Laurencetown Community Centre at 9.30am and returns at 5pm. To book, contact Michael.

Wednesday After School Club

The Wednesday After School Club runs from 2-4pm. It is only £2 per child per week. Please either send your child with the money or pay when you are collecting them. This includes a snack and all activities. If anyone has any questions about After School please ring Claire on 028 4062 3770 or call into the centre.

After School Service

LLTCA is exploring if there is a demand for a Monday-Friday Afterschool childcare service to be provided in the Community Centre. The Centre itself is a perfect venue—we just need to work out if there are enough parents who would use the service and be prepared to pay the standard rate similar to other childcare providers with the 2-6pm session costing approximately £16. If you—or someone you know—might be interested in this service please let Claire know. If we go ahead, this it will start in September 2018.

Out & About Trip

The first Out & About Trip of 2018 is to Enniskillen Castle on Tuesday 27th February. The subsidised cost of £15 covers transport, tea/coffee & scones, entrance fees and lunch. If you want to book a place call Patricia on 07999 337889 or Claire at the Centre on 4062 3770. The bus will leave Banbridge at 9am, Laurencetown at 9.15am and Gilford at 9.30am.

Internet Access/Printing

The Community Centre is available to local people to use for Internet access —just contact Claire on 028 4062 3770 before you pop down to make sure she is there. We can also print off documents, boarding passes and photocopy documents for you.

Dog Waste

Do you know that it is perfectly acceptable to put dog waste in “regular” bins? If you can use a bag that’s best but as long as it is in tissues it is still ok.
