Welcome to our new website! We hope you come back and visit it on a regular basis to keep up to date with what is happening in the Community Centre and to give your feedback on what we do.
Laurencetown, Lenaderg & Tullylish Community Association (LLTCA) owns, manages and maintains the centre thanks to a mixture of funding from ABC Council, SHSCT and rental payments.
We run a number of the groups that meet weekly in the Centre (such as our After Schools Club and Youth Club) and then there are independent ones – like Chest, Heart & Stroke and Art & Crafts – that rent the hall from the Community Association.
Laurencetown Community Centre is well used – but when available can be hired out for events, parties, conferences and other activities for £15 per hour. This includes full use of the centre and all the resources such as screen and projector, kitchen and some of the childrens chairs and toys. To book, contact us here.
We need local people to use our centre – attend the groups, make suggestions for new activities, hire the centre for parties – and also to consider volunteering with one of our groups. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact us here.
PS Do you like photography? We’d love to get some of your pictures of Laurencetown, Lenaderg and Tullylish up on the site here. Send your favourites to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll feature them on the site and/or the Facebook page. (If you’re sharing photos of people, be sure to ask permission before sharing!)
