having a bit of company with our volunteers – maybe going for a dander, trying out different activities or groups, having a chat and a cuppa

  • Time out for Carers

supporting much valued older carers and those they care for have a couple of hours to themselves.

We also help people get to know more about local activities, groups and services that you could benefit from.

helping keep those aged 65+ keep well, connected,  be independent and have a fulfilled life.

LLTCA have been reviewing Connecting the Community as they go along.  We’ve carried out an Interim Evaluation and have just completed a Social Return on Investment (SROI).  We are delighted for every £1 invested, £3.22 of social and economic value was returned.  This is despite the project being impacted significantly by Covid-19.
